About

I’m Brooks and I always have a camera over my shoulder or a viewfinder to my eye. I enjoy tough assignments and working with whatever is thrown my way.

I’m a photojournalism student at Boston University with a minor in psychology. From April until October 2009 I worked as a photography intern for the Boston Red Sox, where I produced content for the Red Sox website, publications, and administration, as well as dodged foul balls. Starting in late June, I will be interning with the Boston Herald.

I recently returned from a semester in London studying journalism and assisting at Richard Jung Photography producing high-end food photography.

With my range of Canon gear, I produce sports, fashion, public-relations, and news photography, as well as any projects that may arise.

I have won awards for feature, sports and portrait photography in the Boston Press Photographers Association college contest.

My clients include the Venezuelan National Football Team, Boston University Athletics, and the Agganis Arena at Boston University.

I can be reached at bcanaday@bu.edu or (203)-979-6647 regarding image sales or hiring for your photography needs.
